Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2017
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 11/7/2017
Originating from his third of four seasons spent in Steel City, we have a Pittsburgh Penguins away jersey worn by defenceman Andrew Ference in 2001-02. Size tagging is affixed to the collar including handwritten “7”, with embroidered NHL and KOHO crests on the bottom hem and back necklines respectively. Styled with the Pens team crest that saw use from 1999-2002, the solid black V-neck has been accented with textured tackle twill sleeve and verso numbers, with “Ference” over the nameplate in matching material. A few marks are present on the team crest, with additional marks, board burns and paint transfer over each sleeve. There are also a couple of small holes resulting from burns over the left elbow. The team patch sits along the collar, with an LOA from the Penguins organization to accompany.
