Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2017
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 11/7/2017
Spending a lone season in Pennsylvania in the mid-to-late-1990s, we have a Pittsburgh Penguins home jersey worn by defenceman Jason Woolley during the 1996-97 NHL regular season. Labeling from Starter along with a “52-R” swatch with handwritten “12” sit affixed to the collar, with embroidered NHL and Starter crests over the back bottom hem. Styled with an attractive and textured Pens team crest, the solid white V-neck has been accented with dual-colour tackle twill sleeve and verso numbers, with “Woolley“ across the nameplate in matching material. There is pilling along with marks over each sleeve, with a large stick mark just above the right breast. An LOA from the Penguins organization will accompany.
