Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2017
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 11/7/2017
An inaugural member of the Atlanta Thrashers, Chris Tamer split his 10-season NHL career evenly between the Thrashers and Pittsburgh. This Penguins Set 1 road jersey was worn by the Dearborn native during the 1996-97 regular season. Labels from Starter and Center Ice along with a “56-G” swatch sit along the collar, with embroidered Starter and NHL crests on the back bottom hem. Styled with “Pittsburgh” placed diagonally across the chest in drop-shadow tackle twill letters, the black V-neck has been accented with dual-colour sleeve and verso numbers in matching material. Customized sleeves have also been utilized, with an attempted repair to the broken fight strap. Numerous marks and burns are visible over each sleeve, along with a few small holes. An LOA will accompany.
