Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction February 2018
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 2/27/2018
Designed to support cancer awareness in 2014-15, we have a signed Pittsburgh Penguins jersey worn at home by Christian Ehrhoff during the warm-up of the Oct 10th contest vs Los Angeles, a match that witnessed the Pens shutout the Kings 3-0. Size tagging is affixed to the collar near a bright green Reebok name band, with embroidered NHL and Reebook crests over the front neckline and left breast respectively. Featuring the familiar Pens team crest with an added pink ribbon, the solid purple garment has been accented with pink tackle twill sleeve and verso numbers with both grey and white trim, with “Ehrhoff” across the pink nameplate in single grey twill. Ehrhoff has added a vertical signature across the reverse “0”, and it displays well. Worn during the warm-up, the sweater exhibits no wear and remains in wonderful condition. A full Reebok label sits over the lower front, while the team patch along the inside hem lists the uniform's provenance. An 8” x 10” photo of Ehrhoff wearing this jersey will accompany.
