Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2017

Drafted within the third round of the 1988 NHL Entry Draft, Joe Juneau spent time in the NHL with a number of clubs, also seeing action with Team Canada at the 1992 Winter Olympics. This Canadiens jersey was worn by the Pont-Rouge native in 2003-04, his third and final season with the Habs. A size “56” tag remains affixed to the collar, with embroidered CCM and NHL crests over the back neckline and bottom hem respectively. Fashioned with the most famous team crest in hockey partially embroidered over the chest, the solid white V-neck has been embellished with tri-colour tackle twill sleeve and verso numbers, with “Juneau” over the nameplate in single blue twill. There is also evidence of the removal of an alternate’s “A” from over the left breast. Game-wear on the “White 1st Regular Season” garment includes a number of dark marks over each sleeve, along with paint transfer just above the left elbow. There are also board burns with a few small resulting holes over the left shoulder. A patch from MeiGray numbered “B03966” has been added to the inside hem, with a matching LOA to accompany.
