Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction June 2017
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 6/21/2017
Among Jack Eichel's most important rookie cards is this one, part of Upper Deck's Black Diamond product from 2015-16, the season that saw the Boston native and former Hobey Baker Award winner put up rookie numbers of 24 goals and 56 points to finish fourth in voting for the Calder Trophy. The gifted center duplicated those numbers this past season despite missing some 20 games due to injury. The day that Jack leads the Sabres to the post-season does not appear far away. Featuring four diamond-like studs embedded into the card, along with a swell image of the young stud, this Quad Diamond Relics card is numbered "22/99" and is in NM-MT or better condition. Listed at $700 by Beckett as we went to press, this beauty could prove down the road to be a very wise acquisition.
