Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Winter 2017
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 3/8/2017
Seeing action in just 6 NHL games split amongst Winnipeg, Atlanta and the Islanders, Peter Mannino is currently an assistant coach with the Chicago Steel of the USHL. This New York Islanders jersey was worn in warm-ups by the American-born goaltender in 2008-09. “Goalie Style” and CCM size tagging is affixed to the collar, with partially embroidered NHL and Reebok patches on the front and back necklines respectively. Featuring the familiar Long Island NY team crest, the tie-neck jersey has been accented with dual-colour tackle twill numbers and name-on-nameplate. With just light visible wear from warm-ups including a dark puck mark on the lower front hem, the jersey remains in gorgeous condition. A MeiGray patch numbered F11167 has been affixed to the inside hem, and according to their population report, this garment is a “Third Set 1” example. A copy of the matching MeiGray LOA will be included.
