Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction February 2016
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 2/23/2016
A rugged player who had helped the Canadiens to back-to-back Stanley Cup titles a few years earlier, Albert “Batttleship” Leduc had actually been sold to Ottawa prior to the 1933-34 season when he first appeared on hockey cards. This O-Pee-Chee example has earned EX-MT 6 recognition from PSA and is joined on the company’s Population Report by four other 6s. Ahead of them on the chart is one NM-MT 8 and nine NM 7s with 56 total submissions of the Leduc RC since PSA started up. Leduc, by the way, was a hard-hitting competitor, earning his “Battleship” nickname.
