Historical Hockey and Sports Memorabilia Auction Spring 2025
A product of Bowling Green State University and representing his native United States on numerous occasions, Ken Klee would enjoy an NHL year that saw him suit up for 934 total contests. Up for grabs here, is this Maple Leafs jersey worn by Klee during the 2005-06 season his second year in Ontario’s capital. Made by Reebok, a lonely size “58” tag graces the interior collar while the crests of Reebok and the NHL are found over the reverse neckline and hem respectively. Styled over the front with a familiar Leafs crest with “Toronto Maple Leafs” embroidered into it, matching “TML” alternate logo patches reside over each shoulder. The sleeves and verso have had Klee’s number “22” sewn to them in matching tri-layer stacked tackle twill numerals while “Klee” has been spelt out across the affixed matching nameplate in single layer white twill letters. Showing light game-wear, stick marks are observed over both sleeves, through the team crest and at the lower front (which has cut through the first layer of material) while a red board paint transfer is seen over the NHL shield on the reverse hem and board burns are seen at the left shoulder and sleeve. A MeiGray patch numbered “C09920” is sewn inside the rear hem and according to their population report, the jersey is a “Blue Set 3” specimen and is accompanied by a matching LOA.
