Historical Hockey and Sports Memorabilia Auction June 2025
A steady, stay-at-home blueliner, Keith Aulie was a key piece on Canada’s gold medal–winning
2009 World Junior team — the squad that clinched a record-setting fifth straight title for the
country. Shortly thereafter, Aulie made his way to the NHL, creating a professional career that
spanned over 150 games with the Maple Leafs, Lightning and Oilers.
Offered here is his rookie season jersey from the 2010–11 campaign with Toronto, as confirmed
by the accompanying team COA. This Reebok jersey is a size "58", with tagging sewn into
the collar. An NHL shield is centered beneath the collar, with the Reebok wordmark stitched at
the base of the reverse neckline. Classic Leafs shoulder patches are sewn on each side, while
his number "59" is applied in white single-layer twill on both sleeves and the back. On the
reverse, “AULIE” appears in white twill over a matching blue nameplate. Inside the jersey, a fight
strap is firmly affixed, and a team patch, numbered "A-0064" is sewn along the inside hem,
confirming its use during Aulie’s 2010–11 rookie season.
Game wear is light, consistent with Aulie’s limited action that year, with a small visible stick mark
on the right elbow serving as a notable sign of use. An excellent representation from the early
career of a player who broke into the league as part of Toronto’s promising young defensive
core.
