Historical Hockey and Sports Memorabilia Auction February 2025
Consistently remaining one of the most sought-after tickets in the National Hockey League throughout their nearly 100-year history, the Detroit Red Wings have celebrated a total of eleven (11) Stanley Cup Championships during that time, with the latest coming at the conclusion of the 2007-08 season over the Pittsburgh Penguins. Offered here, we present this ticket from the night of June 4th, 2008, the night the Red Wings hoisted Lord Stanley's Cup for the eleventh (11th) time in franchise history on the ice of Mellon Arena in Pittsburgh. A full/complete box office example that displays "2008 Stanley Cup Playoffs" and "Round 4, Home Game 3" over it, also displayed is the venue name, date, time, seat information and the purchase price. Measuring slightly smaller than 5 1/2" x 2", the ticket is in overall good condition but does display with creasing, surface wear/marks, edge and corner wear that is worth mentioning for accuracy.
