Historical Hockey and Sports Memorabilia Auction February 2025
Following in the footsteps of past HOF Winnipeggers who have all proudly represented the Chicago Black Hawks, including Charlie Gardiner, Bill Mosienko, and the club’s first captain Dick Irvin, Jonathan Toews helped the Windy City celebrate three Stanley Cup championships in the 2010s. Captain Serious also played in four NHL All-Star Games and won two Olympic gold medals representing Canada. Featured are a pair of Toews signed jerseys, including a limited-edition Western Conference All-Stars white jersey celebrating his first All-Star Game appearance in Montreal in 2009. Toews signed in silver paint pen on the “9” on the back of the jersey, which has a silver paint pen “37/99” annotation at the bottom. A hologram sticker is affixed to the left at the bottom of the signed number and Reebok size L tagging is on the front left tail and in the back of the collar. Toews placed a bold black marker signature in the middle of the “6” on the back of his Team Canada 2010 white No. 16 jersey, which has a hologram sticker at the bottom of the signed number. Nike size L tagging is in the back of the neck and a Vancouver 2010 patch is sewn on the left sleeve. Each signed jersey comes with its respective COA.
