Historical Hockey and Sports Memorabilia Auction June 2025
The brother of the Phantom, HOFer Joe Malone, Jeff Malone served as a spare on the Quebec Bulldogs for three seasons including in 1912-13 where he was crowned a Stanley Cup champion. The Quebec City native also spent the 1911-12 NHA season with the fabled Montreal Wanderers. This custom card features a gorgeous signature cut of Malone. At the standard card size of 2 1/2" x 3 1/2", an image of Malone in his Bulldogs wool jersey sits over a Quebec team photo image in the background. Malone's ballpoint signature with "Quebec Bull Dogs 1912-13" notation is attractively outlined and matted into the card. The reverse has a small biography. The card overall shows no issues. Malone passed away in 1981 at the age of 93.
