Historical Hockey and Sports Memorabilia Auction June 2025
A member of the famed “Triple Gold Club”, winner of the Hart Memorial Trophy in 1999 and 2nd place on the all-time scoring list, Jaromir Jagr remains the ageless wonder in the game of hockey, and he is currently playing in the Czech Republic with Rytíri Kladno. A two-time Stanley Cup champion with the Pittsburgh Penguins who currently sits second (2nd) on the NHL's All-Time Points Leaders list with 1921, Jagr would spend eleven (11) years in Steeltown as a member of the Penguins, serving as the team's captain between 1998-99 and 2000-01. Offered here, we present this Jaromir Jagr New York Rangers jersey that has been signed by the Czech superstar. A Koho replica jersey with brand and size "XL" tagging affixed to the inner collar, the jersey is in the style of the Rangers "Lady Liberty" third jerseys of the era. Decorated over the front and both shoulders with tackle twill team crests and logos that display with embroidered details throughout their entireties, the distinguished alternate captain's "A" appears over the left breast while Koho and NHL shield emblems have been added over the reverse neckline and hem. Remaining in new-with-tags condition and styled over the sleeves and verso with "Jagr" and his familiar number "68" in sewn on tackle twill letters and numbers, Jaromir has signed through the middle of the "8" on the reverse with a large blue marker signature that displays well. Of note, it appears the signature was first started in silver ink but then was switched to blue and restarted. Having had both Frozen Pond and "Jagr68" holograms affixed to the signed numeral, a Frozen Pond COA will accompany the piece.
