Historical Hockey and Sports Memorabilia Auction June 2025
Winning a Stanley Cup is a dream most players chase their entire careers — Jamie Pushor
made it a reality in his first full NHL season with the powerhouse 1997 Detroit Red Wings. That
rare feat kicked off a rugged, blue-collar career that saw Pushor log over 500 games in the
league, earning his keep as a reliable, hard-nosed defender who never shied away from the
physical side of the game.
In 2003, Pushor was invited to Toronto Maple Leafs training camp on a try-out contract. Though
he didn’t make the final roster, he wore this jersey during pre-season action from his brief time with the franchise. This size "58" CCM jersey features standard tagging in the collar. The CCM logo is stitched to the rear neckline, and the classic Maple Leafs shoulder patches are present on both sleeves. The number "4" appears on each arm and on the back of the jersey in blue single twill. “PUSHOR” is spelled out on a white nameplate in matching single twill.
Despite being used only in pre-season play, the jersey exhibits considerable wear, including
several puck and stick marks on the front and both sleeves. Notable marks include a purple
transfer scuff on the left elbow and a distinct blue transfer mark on the left shoulder. Inside, a
fight strap remains firmly affixed, and a MeiGray patch, with the Game-Worn Jersey Authentication Program number "B08392", is sewn into the inner hem, matching the one on the accompanying MeiGray LOA.
