Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction June 2018
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 6/19/2018
Originating from the collection of the only Canadian to win the Indianapolis 500, we have a great group of signed race-issued/race-worn visors totaling eight, all from the career of Jacques Villeneuve. Two visors have Castrol Winfield strips with one tinted, with a notation of “JV Brazil ’98 Friday” on the un-tinted visor. Next, three have Lucky Strike strips (two with Teleglobe), with the Teleglobe examples tinted, with a notation of “5TO’s Rain” on the third example. Next, we have a single visor with Honda strip with no notation, along with a pair of Swiss One visors with no strips that have never been used. All of the visors show wear (except the stripless pair), and each has been signed over the front left, and the signatures display well. All originating from Jacques’ personal collection, a signed LOA will accompany from the racing legend.
