Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Spring 2021
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 6/30/2021
Originating from the NHL’s Registered Goal Puck Program that existed for two seasons during the early-1970s and originally distributed by Hockey Diversified, we have a puck used by superstar Henri Richard to score one of his 358 career goals. The Montreal Canadiens 194th goal of the 1973-74 NHL season vs Detroit on Feb 15, 1974, the goal was assisted by fellow HOFers Guy Lafleur and Frank Mahovlich, scored at 18:27 of the first to put the Habs up by four, with the clubs trading goals for a 9-4 Canadiens victory. The rubberized Canadiens logo and Goal Puck Program label both remain fairly clean, with just very light wear to the puck.
