Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2014
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 11/4/2014
Big Hal Gill wore this “Bear’s Head” Bruins jersey in the 1999-2000 campaign, just his third season in the big leagues and all with Boston at the time, which seems so long ago considering he’s now played more than 1100 games over 16 seasons with six different clubs. Tagged in the collar as a “Pro Player (size) 58”, this gamer has the “2000” millennium patch sewn on the right breast, with condition-wise showing two team repairs on the front of the jersey, three on the left sleeve, another three on the upper right sleeve, and two more on the lower part of the sleeve. Puckering is on the team crest, and marks and board burns are scattered about. On the inside hem is screened-on lettering showing “Official Boston Bruins 1st Set 1999-00 Season”, plus the Bruins logo, “2000”, and the lettering company. Comes with an LOA signed by Bruins head equipment manager Peter Henderson.
