Historical Hockey and Sports Memorabilia Auction June 2025
Widely considered as one of the top three players throughout the history of the fabled Montreal Canadiens along with Rocket Richard and Jean Beliveau, Guy Lafleur enjoyed tremendous success during his Habs tenure, capturing five Stanley Cup championships, three Art Ross Trophies, two Hart Memorials and the Conn Smythe. Enjoying a National Hockey League career that spanned a total of 1,126 games and inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame in 1988, we offer a twice-signed stick used by the Flower during the early-to-mid-1980s. A Sher-Wood PMP 5030 SOP model with “Lafleur G” and “10” stamped to the upper shaft, the original black tape remains over the blade and white to the slightly shaved handle/knob. Lafleur has added a later black marker signature to the shaft, with some minor bleeding occurring, with a second ballpoint signature penned over the lower shaft along with a personalization. The stick shows light to moderate game-use with wear to the taped section of blade including the underside, and marks to the shaft along with additional wear, marks and blue paint transfer to the taped handle. A JSA LOA will accompany for the black marker signature.
