Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2014

The Big M has placed his “Frank Mahovlich” signature in blue marker low on the shaft of his Team Canada 1974 game-used stick. The Hall of Fame left winger also took part in the 1972 Canada-Russia series before suiting up against the Soviet national team on behalf of his country once again two years later, this time as a member of the WHA stars taking part in the second go-round of the Summit Series. Frank’s tape job on the knob partially covers the “Mahovlich” stamp on the shaft. The vintage tape job on the blade in two-tone differs from what we usually see on Big M sticks. Solid and crack-free gamer has lots of game use including red paint transfer low on the shaft, some blue paint transfer on the shaft and various marks.
