Historical Hockey and Sports Memorabilia Auction June 2025
A veteran of 903 National Hockey League contests and a Stanley Cup champion with the Anaheim Ducks in 2007, Francois Beauchemin would play a year and a half of his 14-years in the NHL with the Toronto Maple Leafs, suiting up for them in both 2009-10 and 2010-11. Up for grabs here, is this Leafs jersey worn by Beauchemin during the 2010-11 campaign. Made by Reebok and sporting a single size “58” label over the inner collar, crests of the NHL shield and Reebok adorn the front and back necklines respectively. The front of the tie-neck garment is decorated with a vintage style Leafs crest with both “Toronto Maple Leafs” and other details embroidered into it while the distinguished alternate captain's "A" has been added over the left breast. Beauchemin’s number “22” has been added to both the sleeves and verso in single layer blue twill letters while “Beauchemin” is spelt out in matching style across the affixed matching nameplate. Exhibiting just light game-wear, board burns are observed over both sleeves with stick marks, light board paint transfer and a small unrepaired cut present on the left one as well. A Leafs team tag denoting the jersey as a “2010-11 Season Official Game Worn Jersey” has been sewn inside the rear hem.
