Developing in the Q for four seasons with the Chicoutimi Saguenéens, netminder Felix Potvin was drafted by Toronto third overall for goaltenders - directly after Martin Brodeur, and made his NHL debut for the Leafs in 1991-92. Before making his mark on the NHL that season, Potvin first helped his nation win gold at the 1991 IIHF World Junior championships while wearing the offered Team Canada jersey. Sporting a worn Tackla label affixed to the collar along with “XXL” sizing, the vintage mesh jersey measures-out to roughly a size 58. Featuring all identifiers sublimated including the team crest and numbers, the patriotic garment exhibits good game-use, with marks and material pulls over the front and sleeves, there are also a few small slits to the upper left sleeve, with white threading added near the elbow section – with this possibly to secure the first layer of mesh beneath the fabric. Hailing from his personal collection, a signed LOA from Felix Potvin will accompany.
