A veteran of 760 games played in the NHL after being selected first overall by the Quebec Nordiques at the 1991 NHL Entry Draft, Eric Lindros, already a household name by the time he turned pro, Lindros would form one third of the powerful "Legion of Doom" line and help the Oshawa Generals to a Memorial Cup championship in 1990. Having skated for the likes of Philadelphia, New York, Toronto and Dallas while also having represented Team Canada on numerous occasions, Lindros would help his country to gold at both the 1991 Canada Cup and 2002 Winter Olympic Games. Hailing from his best statistical season in the National Hockey League in which he posted forty-seven (47) goals, 115 points and 163 penalty minutes, offered here is this Flyers jersey donned by Lindros during the 1995-96 season. Made by CCM, size "58" and CCM brand labels are affixed to the inner collar, with the latter sporting Eric's number "88" in blue ballpoint pen. Having had the logos of both CCM and the NHL embroidered into the reverse hem, the front of the jersey is decorated with a Flyers team crest in layered tackle twill while the distinguished captain's "C" has been added atop of the left breast. Styled over the sleeves and verso with Lindros' number "88" in dual layer tackle twill numerals, "Lindros" has been spelt out in single layer white twill letters across the affixed matching nameplate at the top of the reverse. Retaining its fight strap on the interior and signed behind the team crest by both Lindros and Flyers trainer, Jim Evers, in black marker, “95-96” is penned underneath the autographs in matching ink with some of it bleeding through to the tackle twill layers of the crest. Showing light salting in the snaps of the fight strap and displaying wear via stick marks over the front, reverse and both sleeves, board burns are present over both sleeves and blue coloured board paint transfer marks grace the areas of the right elbow and bottom of the second "8" on the reverse. With just very light pilling found on the interior and a board burn over the right side of the lower reverse, the jersey hails from Lindros' personal collection and is accompanied by his signed LOA.
