Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction February 2018
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 2/27/2018
Originating from the personal collection of HOF superstar Eric Lindros, we have a pair of jackets, including Eric’s 1993 World Championship example, along with a second Team Canada jacket that hails from the late-1980s/early-1990s, most likely originating with the national team. We also have Eric’s official 1993 World Championships Team Canada team photo. Lindros would lead the ’93 tournament in scoring with 17 points, more than enough to be named to the “Media All-Star Team”. A signed LOA from Eric will accompany.
Eric’s 1993 World Championship jacket has Mondetta labeling along with a size “48” tag, with Hockey Canada logos gracing the reverse and left breast. “1993 World Hockey Championship” has been embroidered over the reverse, with a Mondetta crest over the left sleeve. Moderate wear is present on the garment, with a few scuffs and marks. The second Team Canada jacket appears to be XL in size with no label present, with screened-on Team Canada and Tackla logos. Moderate wear is also present on this second jacket, with what appears to be blood stains on the interior. The team photo is 9” x 13 ½” (exposed), matted to full dimensions of 16” x 20”, with the full roster listed below. The photo remains in gorgeous condition, with just light wear to the matte.
