Ranked fourth among NHL goaltenders for all-time wins, Ed Belfour enjoyed an especially successful career despite going undrafted, winning the Calder Memorial in 1991 before capturing a pair of Vezina trophies. From his time in Dallas where he was crowned a Stanley Cup champion in 1999, we have a photo-matched Stars jersey worn by the HOF netminder in 2001-02. A “Goalie Style” label is affixed to the collar with embroidered NHL and KOHO crests over the bottom hem and reverse neckline respectively. Measuring-out to roughly a size 60 and styled with a textured Stars team crest with embroidered detailing, “20” appears over the sleeves and verso in layered tackle twill, with matching alternate crests over each shoulder. The “Set 2” Meigray/team patch resides on the inside hem, with a matching LOA to accompany from the Stars.
Exhibiting just very light game-use, there are a few random marks visible, with a pair of scrapes to the material on the upper chest. Getty Images #1257040433 (March 12, 2002) and #684298 (March 16, 2002) have both been matched to the line of wear on the left breast.
