Produced for the famous 1951-52 Detroit Red Wings in the 1990s and partially financed by the players and families themselves, we have a miniature Stanley Cup trophy. Standing just over 13" high, the attractive keepsake was produced by Montreal's "Boffey", with a company sticker applied to the brown felt on the underside of the black wooden base. The Detroit executives along with coach Tommy Ivan's names are engraved above those of the players, listed in three columns. In beautiful condition, there is some wear to the top bowl as well as along the rim above the engraved script. A few other random marks and scratches are also present. Along with being Stanley Cup Champions, the 1951-52 Red Wings also finished first overall in the regular season, crushing the competition and only losing 14 games. An LOA from Classic along with a second document will accompany.
