Historical Hockey and Sports Memorabilia Auction June 2025
Helping to lead the Quebec Aces to a first place finish during his inaugural campaign in the QSHL, Jean Beliveau would spend a pair of seasons with the notable club which included winning the Alexander Cup as the top “Major Senior” team in Canada, in 1951-52. This original photo of Beliveau with the Aces has been signed by the legendary superstar and deemed a Type 1 image by PSA/DNA, with the autograph certified. At 5" x 7", a youthful big Jean is depicted on ice in his Aces uniform, with his black ink signature placed over the right side (the "B" of "Beliveau" is a bit light). A stamp from photographer Moderne Enrg. appears on the reverse, with just light wear to the photo overall including a bit of faint staining over the reverse.
