Historical Hockey and Sports Memorabilia Auction February 2025
Originally part of the foundation of one of hockey’s most fabled buildings, this brick hails from the famous Chicago Stadium, with the historic utilitarian relic augmented with the signature of the Chicago Black Hawks’ greatest player, deceased HOFer Bobby Hull. The Madhouse on Madison was the home of the Black Hawks from 1929 until their final game there in 1994, and also the home court of the NBA’s Chicago Bulls, who enjoyed residence for over a quarter century. At 4” x 8” and with excessive weight, the brick has a plaque adhered to the top proclaiming its significance with its authenticity guaranteed by the Chicago Stadium Corporation. The Golden Jet, who passed away in 2023, signed “Bobby Hull #9” in bold black marker above the plaque with the “Remember the Roar” annotation in black marker roughly handwritten below the plaque. To note, the upper right side of the brick broke and has been glued back in place. Comes with a Classic Auctions LOA.
