Historical Hockey and Sports Memorabilia Auction June 2025
Before Dave Bolland became a Stanley Cup hero for the Chicago Blackhawks, scoring some of
the most clutch goals in franchise history, he had to cut his teeth in the minors. This game-worn
jersey comes from Bolland’s 2006–07 rookie season in the AHL, his only full year with the
Norfolk Admirals, the Blackhawks’ affiliate at the time.
A CCM size "54" jersey, it features proper tagging in the collar, with a Reebok crest stitched onto
the reverse neckline. A "STIHL" sponsor patch is affixed to the right breast, with an anchor
shoulder patch on the right and the classic Blackhawks logo on the left. Bolland’s number "14" is
sewn on both arms and the back of the jersey in black over red tackle twill.
The jersey shows strong signs of game wear, with multiple stick and puck marks on the front,
and significant wear on both sleeves. The right sleeve bears additional stick marks, a yellow
stain on the cuff, and a blue transfer mark on the shoulder. The left sleeve and shoulder also
show a series of battle marks from AHL action. On the back, "BOLLAND" is stitched in black
single twill over a white nameplate, with AHL and Reebok crests stitched to the hem. Even the
back shows light game wear, with a few more stick marks present. Inside, a fight strap is
securely affixed, and the jersey comes with a team LOA.
