Historical Hockey and Sports Memorabilia Auction February 2025
Assisting on Henri Richard's Stanley Cup winning goal in 1966 to claim his second championship with the Canadiens, Dave Balon arrived in Montreal through a 7-player trade with the New York Rangers that included Jacques Plante, in 1963. Balon would spend a total of four seasons in Quebec before being selected by the Minnesota North Stars in the 1967 Expansion Draft.
