A member of the Russian and Soviet Hockey Hall of Fame, with his 28 Olympic games-played a record among Russian national team players, Darius Kasparaitis enjoyed an especially lengthy NHL career, with numerous seasons spent with the Pittsburgh Penguins and New York Islanders while also enjoying stints with the Colorado Avalanche and New York Rangers as well. A three-time Olympic medalist and a veteran of 863 National Hockey League game, offered here is this Pittsburgh Penguins jersey worn by Kasparaitis during the 1999-2000 campaign. Made by Pro Player, brand/NHL Center Ice Authentic Collection and size "52" labeling is affixed to the inner collar while the logos of both Pro Player and the NHL have been embroidered into the reverse hem. Decorated over the front of the jersey with Penguins team crest that features both embroidered and textured details, the NHL2000 patch that was worn by all the league's teams to celebrate the new millennium has been added over the right breast. Styled over the sleeves and verso with Kasparaitis' number "11" in dual layer black-over-yellow tackle twill numerals, "Kasparaitis" is spelt out in matching style letters across the affixed matching nameplate at the top of the reverse. Retaining its fight strap on the interior, which has an IceViolence tag affixed to it, the jersey displays with heavy game-wear including countless stick marks throughout the body and sleeves, coloured board paint transfer marks over both sleeves, fabric snags over the front and both sleeves and pilling on the interior, a couple of light spots stains are present over the reverse as well that are worth noting for accuracy.
