Claude Lemieux’s magnificent 1987 Canada Cup 10-karat gold ring commemorates Team Canada’s legendary tournament win as Wayne Gretzky and Mario Lemieux joined forces to defeat a powerhouse Soviet Union squad. The Great One set up Super Mario for the winning goal in the deciding game of the best-of-three final. Obtained directly from Claude Lemieux, this elegant bauble has an approximate weight of 12 grams and displays four real diamonds below the stylized maple leaf logo on the tableau. “C. Lemieux” is stamped on the right shank and “1987” is on the left shank. "MacGregor" and "10K" are stamped inside the size 12 band. Proud wear shows in scratches and nicks to the edge of the band. A signed LOA from Claude Lemieux will accompany.
The left shank is ever-so-slightly bowed and there is a small ding to the edge of the left shank near the “7”.
