A pair of 1960s Chicago Black Hawks NHL contracts for star players Chico Maki and Murray Balfour is offered, with each signed by deceased HOFers Clarence Campbell (league president) and Tommy Ivan (Hawks GM). Both Standard Player's Contracts, The Maki contract is for the 1964-65 and 1965-66 seasons, with the Sault Ste. Marie native set to earn $14,000 per season (approx $137,780.49 in 2024 dollars), along with the possibility of two different $500.00 bonuses (approx just under $5,000.00 in 2024 dollars). The Balfour contract is for 1961-62, with the Regina native set to earn $13,500.00 (approx $132,859.76 in 2024 dollars). All of the signatures (Balfour, Maki, Campbell x2 and Ivan x2) have been executed in blue ink, with no issues. The contracts themselves each have just a fold line as expected.
