This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 6/21/2017
Featuring the beloved Toronto Blue Jays, we have a group of 4 game-worn jerseys, with examples from 1992-2006. Included, we have a 1992 Jays jersey worn by pitcher Bob McDonald, followed by an example worn by Steve Parris in 2001 along with a pair of signed 2006 St. Patrick’s Day Jays jerseys, one worn by Gustavo Chacin, the other, B.J. Ryan. Each garment exhibits the proper tags and date swatches, and they would augment any Blue Jays holdings admirably. The two St. Patrick`s Day jerseys are accompanied by LOAs along with raffle tickets, while the 2 other game-worn jerseys have COAs along with an additional LOA for the MacDonald jersey.
The breakdown for each of the offered Blue Jays jerseys is as follows;
1 – Bob McDonald’s 1992 Toronto Blue Jays game-worn jersey. Wilson size tagging is affixed to the collar, with a size/year/set swatch of “45 92 1”. Styled with “Blue Jays” arching across the chest along with a partially embroidered Jays team crest over the right breast, the white button-up has been accented with “45” on verso in matching material. With some light sweat staining around the collar, the jersey remains in wonderful condition.
2 – Steve Parris’ 2001 Toronto Blue Jays game-worn jersey. Majestic labeling is affixed to the lower left front tail, with a size/year/set swatch of “39 01 S1” along the collar. Styled with “Toronto” arching over the chest in tri-colour tackle twill, the grey button-up has been accented with front and verso numbers in matching material, with the American League 100th anniversary crest over the right sleeve. Nice use is exhibited, with some light pilling in spots.
3&4 - Gustavo Chacin and B.J. Ryan’s 2006 St. Patrick’s Day signed Toronto Blue Jays game-worn jerseys. Majestic labeling is present on the front left tail of each, with attractive and textured team crests over the left breast. The verso numbers of each are in matching material to the team crests, and each has been signed within the top section of the numbers, with the signatures displaying well. With no obtrusive wear present, both jerseys remain in wonderful condition.
