Coming off his most impressive season to date in 1988-89 with an amazing 199 points, the following season would see another 100+ total, including 45 goals in only 59 games played. Hailing from his sixth season in Pittsburgh, we have a jersey that was issued to iconic superstar Mario Lemieux that was originally purchased from the Penguins – according to the accompanying LOA. Maska Ultrafil tagging with handwritten “66” sits affixed to the collar, with an embroidered CCM crest over the back bottom hem. Styled with a large and attractive embroidered Penguins team crest, the solid black V-neck has been accented with oversized tackle twill sleeve and verso numbers, with the 41st All-Star Game patch over the left shoulder. We should also note that wear was originally added to the garment by the trainer. An LOA will accompany.
