Currently marketed in over 180 countries worldwide, the Kellogg’s company began life in 1906 as the Battle Creek Toasted Corn Flake Company, adopting the current moniker after the successful marketing of Kellogg’s Toasted Corn Flakes in 1922. We have a wonderful group of premiums from the breakfast maker, highlighted by the desirable Conacher/Joliat puck from 1935-36 along with a 1950 Kellogg's PEP RCA Victor Toy Television Viewer. We also have a 1950 Kellogg's stereoscope with 4 cards (1 hockey), a 1962-63 Kellogg's All-Star hockey game in box, 2 identical Vintage Kellogg's Sport-Tips booklets, a Tom Mix premium empty box, 1950s Kellogg's hockey players and a 1967-68 Kellogg's hockey sports figurine. Lastly, there is also a coupon for the 1950 PEP RCA Victor Toy Television viewer and a loose page from a Leafs program that features the Conacher/Joliat Kellogg’s promotion.
The puck displays beautifully and remains in wonderful condition with just a few tiny blemishes, while the PEP RCA Victor TV viewer, which could be purchased for 20 cents plus one box top from Kellogg's Pep cereal, remains in very good condition with the original box along with a second viewer and 7 discs. The 1962-63 Kellogg's All-Star hockey game appears complete with 38 cards, playing surface and box, with the box exhibiting moderate wear, especially along the flaps. The Tom Mix box is complete and shows moderate wear with slight discolouration, while the Conacher promotional Leafs program ad shows just light wear. Lastly, the 4 stereoscope cards show edge and surface wear, with the subjects featured to include hockey, Niagara Falls, Aviation and a nature scene, with the 2 Sports-Tips booklets both exhibiting heavy toning.
