Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction February 2018
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 2/27/2018
A three-time Stanley Cup champion with Chicago, defenceman Brent Seabrook has also represented Canada internationally, winning gold at both the World Juniors and Winter Olympics. We have a Chicago Black Hawks jersey that was worn by the Richmond native during his third season in The Windy City, in 2007-08. Size “58” tagging sits affixed to the collar, with NHL and Reebok crests on the front and back necklines respectively. Styled with a gorgeous partially chain-stitched Indian head team crest, the red V-neck has been accented with dual-colour tackle twill sleeve and verso numbers as well as alternate crests over each shoulder, with the “WWW” crest honouring William Wirtz just above the right breast. The team patch sits on the inside hem, and it denotes the garment as a “Set 2” example.
We should note that there is evidence of a removed alternate captain’s “A”, with just light visible wear overall on the garment including a fabric pull over the lower front, along with a few faint marks with examples over the lower right sleeve, nameplate and above the front hem.
