This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 2/27/2018
A terrific baseball autograph collection is available for our loyal bidders, with a number of signed mediums featuring a handful of HOF superstars. Included is a pair of multi-signed baseballs, with an example signed by Williams, Drysdale and Killebrew, along with a baseball signed by 23 including 11 HOFers with Spahn, Kaline, Snider and others. We also have a single-signed Koufax sphere and 8” x 10” photo, with a second 8” x 10” signed by Berra, followed by a bat signed by Strawberry, and a framed display with a signed Mattingly photo. Each signature has been JSA authenticated, with most also including an additional LOA.
The single-signed Koufax ball is an official NL Feeney example, with Sandy signing across the sweet spot in ballpoint, with moderate to heavy toning to the ball. A JSA sticker has been affixed, with a matching LOA to accompany. The Williams-Killebrew-Drysdale ball is an official AL Brown example with heavy toning, with each signing in different inks, with Williams over the sweet spot (arranged at a certain angle, the Williams can display as a single). All signatures display well, with a JSA sticker affixed, and a matching LOA to accompany. The multi-signed ball features 23 signatures in mixed inks, highlighted by HOFers Spahn, Drysdale, Snider, Berra, Killebrew, Kaline, Carter, Boggs, Kell, Feller and Brooks Robinson, with most signatures bold and vibrant, with just minor to moderate toning to the ball. An LOA from JSA will accompany. Next, the Koufax and Berra photos are both signed in marker, with light toning to the prints along with JSA stickers affixed to each, with matching Basic Certifications accompanying. The Mattingly display features a signed 8” x 10” photo under plexiglass along with a pair of mounted cards and name plaque, with the signature flawless. Limited to 1000 copies, the 12” x 15” display has a sticker from JSA affixed, with a matching Basic Certification to accompany. Lastly, the signed bat is a 34” Louisville model with “1986 World Champions” stamped onto the barrel along with “Darryl Strawberry” and “New York Mets”. Darryl has signed just above the stamping in marker, with the bat and signature displaying wonderfully. A sticker from JSA has been affixed, with a matching Basic Certification to accompany.
