Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2014

Center Brad Moran, drafted by the Buffalo Sabres in the 1998 Entry Draft, would never play a regular season game with the Sabres but wore this Sabres jersey in training camp or preseason prior to the 1999-2000 campaign kicking off. Tagged in the collar as a “Pro Player” with a size “54” flap below, (along with a team store tag), this game-worn jersey has an excellent scattering of marks on the front, back, and on both sleeves, including some board burns and red paint transfer, all great evidence that coming out of the hard-nosed Western Hockey League with the Calgary Hitmen, Moran put the pedal to the metal in preseason with the big league club.
