Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Winter 2017
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 3/8/2017
A product of the Kamloops Blazers in the WHL, Brad Lukowich spent time in the NHL with a number of clubs including Tampa Bay, New Jersey and Dallas. From his only season on Long Island, we have a New York Islanders alternate captain’s jersey worn by the Cranbrook native on Oct 8th 2005, and it’s been signed. Reebok size tagging is affixed to the collar, with embroidered NHL and Reebok crests on the bottom hem and back necklines respectively. Styled with the iconic Long Island team crest partially embroidered in tri-colour tackle twill, the orange tie-neck “third” jersey has been accented with dual-colour sleeve and verso numbers, with the “Cares” Katrina Relief Fund patch over the right breast. Lukowich has signed between the numbers on verso in black marker, and the signature displays well. Game-wear is light on the garment, with just a few small random marks present. A patch from MeiGray numbered C06770 sits on the inside hem, with a matching LOA to accompany.
