The Boston Bruins made sure all the right people were presented with Stanley Cup championship rings for their sixth title in 2011, and that classy move meant this one went to the president of the team’s official practice facility. This spectacular Bruins 2011 Stanley Cup championship staff ring presented to Robert (Bob) Rotondo of the Ristuccia Memorial Arena in Wilmington, Mass., comes with its original presentation boxes, including the big lidded display case with “Bob Rotondo” and “2011 Stanley Cup Champions” etched in the glass on the lid along with the Bruins’ logo. This massive 10-karat gold ring has zirconias set in the tableau featuring the Bruins’ logo across the front of a raised image of the Stanley Cup, with “Stanley Cup” and “Champions” in raised letters on the bezel. One shank displays “2011” at the top of the Cup with the five other years of Bruins Cup wins below that. Six zirconias are set on the other shank that displays “Rotondo” and the top and “Ristuccia” at the bottom. This magnificent bauble weighs approximately 55 grams and “Jostens 10K” is stamped inside the size 13 band, along with the NHL logo, and the logo of the four teams Boston defeated during the playoffs and the result of each series.
