Historical Hockey and Sports Memorabilia Auction February 2025
Crowned as American Division champions, finishing a single point ahead of Chicago, the Boston Bruins met and were defeated by the Toronto Maple Leafs in the 1934-35 Stanley Cup semifinals. Producing some of the most attractive NHL programs during the era, with extremely colourful covers with black and white player portraits, we offer an unbelievable collection of 12 high-grade Boston Garden programs from the 1934-35 season, which accounts for half of the programs produced for home games (the season consisted of 48 games - 24 at home, and 24 on the road). The collection is in stunning high-grade, with just a few of the insert line-ups showing wear and toning due to a poorer paper quality compared to the rest of the program. Programs are included for Dec 8, Dec 11, Dec 18, Jan 5, Jan 8, Jan 15, Feb 19, March 5 (small chunk missing from the bottom of the back cover), March 12, March 16, March 19 and March 23. Pair this with the lot of high-grade 1933-34 Bruins programs also in this auction for the ultimate 1930s Beantown collection!
