Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction October 2016
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 11/9/2016
Signing with the Chicago Black Hawks as an undrafted free agent in 2013, goaltender Antti Raanta would first dress in 14 games for the Hawks’ affiliate in the AHL, the Rockford IceHogs. This IceHogs alternate jersey was worn by the Finnish native in his first stint in Rockford in 2013-14, and it’s been photo-matched. A Reebok label along with “Goalie Style” size tagging is affixed to the collar, with embroidered AHL and Reebok crests on the back bottom hem. Fashioned with a partially embroidered multi-layer IceHogs team crest, the cream-colored V-neck has also been accented with triple-twill numbers, along with matching Black Hawks Indian head patches over each shoulder. A Rockford 15th anniversary crest resides on the bottom hem, with a Pepsi sponsorship patch placed just above the right breast. A team LOA will accompany.
Game-wear on the attractive sweater includes a few random marks that are visible just above the team crest and right sleeve numbers, along with a repair at the top of the team crest. The jersey has been photo-matched to the team repair and black mark just above the team crest.
