Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2014

Alexei Yashin’s 1993-94 Ottawa Senators rookie season game-worn pre-season jersey is likely the first jersey the enigmatic Russian wore in the NHL. This distinctive gamer from the 1992-93 set bears the red on white double twill numbers the Sens used only during their first season as well as the Stanley Cup Centennial patch from their inaugural which Yashin would have worn during the 1993-94 preseason. Maska and size 52 flag tags sit in the back of the neck. On the right rear tail are the embroidered NHL shield and CCM logo, the latter with a black mark through the second C and M. More game use shows in a black mark through the bottom of the 9 on the back, marks on the sleeves with board burns and an unrepaired burn hole on the left sleeve. This desirable Yashin gamer comes with a Senators LOA.
