Historical Hockey and Sports Memorabilia Auction November 2024
A standout in the OHL during his time with the Erie Otters, winning the Red Tilson Trophy as league MVP in 2017, Alex DeBrincat was drafted by Chicago 39th overall at the 2016 NHL Entry Draft and spent the first four (4) seasons of his National Hockey League career in the Windy City, before moving on to both Ottawa and then his current club, the Detroit Red Wings. Offered here, we present this pair of gloves worn by Debrincat as as a member of the Blackhawks during the 2020-21 season. Sher-Wood made CODE V model gloves in Chicago's familiar black, white and red colourway, "Debrincat" identifiers are found printed over each wrist guard while "Sher-Wood" is embroidered into the cuffs of both gloves. Also sporting Sher-Wood logos over both thumbs, the gloves show light-to-moderate use via marks and abrasions over the outside part of both hands as well as light rubbing on both palms, which is heavier on the left one.
