Historical Hockey and Sports Memorabilia Auction November 2024
Leading the league in goals during five of his twelve NHL seasons, Charlie Conacher spent nine of those seasons with Toronto, and is best remembered as a member of the Leaf’s Kid Line with Joe Primeau and Busher Jackson. Nicknamed "The Big Bomber" and a Stanley Cup champion in 1932, offered here is this memorabilia card of the 1961 Hockey Hall of Fame inductee that hails from President's Choice's 2016-17 Blue and White Centennial release. A vintage style offering sporting an image of Conacher during his days with the Maple Leafs' over the front as well as a line drawing of Maple Leaf Gardens, a swatch of leather cut from a glove worn by Conacher is embedded into the front of the card under his image. A fabulous offering that remains in its original raw and ungraded form, the card presents in overall excellent condition with just light touches of wear/imperfections to the edges, corners and surfaces.
