Historical Hockey and Sports Memorabilia Auction Spring 2025
Ray Bourque didn’t just step into the NHL—he took control of it from day one. Winning the
Calder Trophy as the league’s top rookie in 1980 was just the beginning. Over 22 seasons,
Bourque became the gold standard for defensemen, combining offensive firepower with
rock-solid defense. He captained the Bruins for 15 years, defining an era in Boston hockey with
his consistency and class. And when he finally lifted the Stanley Cup with the Colorado
Avalanche in 2001, after two decades of chasing it, the hockey world celebrated one of the most
emotional and well-deserved triumphs in the sport’s history.
Presented here is a 1980-81 O-Pee-Chee Ray Bourque rookie card, recently graded PSA 8.
The card is housed in a PSA holder that remains in exceptional condition.
