Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction - June 2009
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 6/16/2009
Darling durene uniform worn by Jimmy Roberts while with the Montreal Canadiens during the 1976-77 season. Jimmy’s uniform from his last campaign in Montreal, and one that ended in another Stanley Cup victory, is a red Wilson knit affair with the company’s size 46 tagging in the neck. Game wear is solid with several stick and puck marks on the front and sleeves in addition to seven stitched team repairs and a few unrepaired holes. Heavy pilling can be found inside and advanced puckering is evident on the crest and numbers due to washing. A perfect mid-Seventies example worn by a player whose name appears no less than five times on Lord Stanley’s grail. Will come complete with a letter of authenticity and a copy of the photo match.
