Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2014

The pressure was on for Team Canada in game 2 of the ’72 Summit Series after being blasted 7-3 in the opener at the Forum. It wasn’t supposed to be like this, and the questions and head shaking were in full force. But the Canadians would respond in fine fashion, winning the game 4-1, and for a few days at least, all was as it should be in the minds of Canadian hockey fans. We have a pair of crisp ticket stubs from that big game 2 at Maple Leaf Gardens in Toronto, preserved in excellent condition with fresh colors and nice edges, with the example from Section 30, Row J, Seat 11 showing a small mark on the face and a few spots on the reverse, while 30, H, 11 has some faint marks on the right edge of the face. Historic ticket stubs for sure.
