Considered to be the 17th season in modern-day Canadian football and officially the 13th Canadian Football League season, the 1970 CFL campaign saw the 58th edition of the Grey Cup won by the Montreal Alouettes over the Calgary Stampeders by a score of 23-10 at CNE Stadium in Toronto. Currently the 3rd finest set and the 4th all-time finest set on PSA's Set Registry with a GPA weighted of 7.87 and a GPA with Top Pop Bonuses of 8.09, offered here is this near-complete PSA graded assembly of O-Pee-Chee's 1970 CFL Football release that includes 101 of the 115 cards that make up the checklist.

In terms of a breakdown by grade, and including the cards already listed in these counts, out of the 101 cards that are present and accounted for, twelve (12) have earned marks of MINT 9, four (4) sports grades of NM-MT+ 8.5, fifty-nine (59) display a designation of NM-MT 8, one (1) has been deemed to be a NM+ 7.5, nineteen (19) present with marks of NM 7, five (5) display a grade of EX-MT 6 and finally, one (1) shows a grade of VG-EX 4. With all the PSA holders appearing in good condition after quick inspection except for some expected light scratches and scuffs, the set is missing just cards 19-Page, 38-Poirier, 45-Campbell, 46-Joe Booth, 49-Colehour, 58-Nettles, 63-Francis, 67-Minnick, 80-Bennett, 86-Keeling, 96-Liggins, 97-Forzani, 110-Checklist and 115-Identifying Player for completion.
